It's a feature in the JunkCycle app. Snap a photo of an item and the AI identifies it, tells you whether it can be reused or recycled, and suggests the right way to deal with it.

Cycle Green Points are JunkCycle's rewards for choosing the greener way. You can see your points and your estimated CO₂ savings on your profile in the app.

Most things you no longer need: furniture, wooden crates and pallets, packaging, fixtures, scrap metal, bulk stone and wood, and renovation debris. Not sure about something? Ask us before you book.

Certificates & impact

Each item is categorized by its material and best next use. That decides where it goes: reuse first, recycling next, landfill last. The CO₂ figures we share are estimates.

Reuse first, recycling next, landfill last. We sort every pickup and match each item to a reuse partner or the right recycling stream. Landfill is only for what truly has no second life.

Business clients get an estimated CO₂ impact record for each pickup and a year-end certificate of diversion showing materials, weights and where everything went.

A record of what we collected from you, how much it weighed and where it went, issued at year-end for business clients.

We weigh and categorise what we collect, then estimate the CO₂ avoided by reusing or recycling it instead of sending it to landfill. Figures are always labelled as estimates.

Reuse keeps an item working as it is, which usually saves more energy and material than breaking it down. Recycling comes next, landfill last.

More than 30 tonnes so far, and counting.
