By accessing or using the JunkCycle platform (the “Platform”), including our website, mobile application, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform.
JunkCycle connects users (“Customers”) who need junk, waste, or recyclable items picked up, with independent service providers (“Haulers”) who offer removal and hauling services. We do not provide hauling services directly. Our role is limited to facilitating connections, scheduling, and transaction processing between Customers and Haulers.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Users must provide accurate information during sign-up and keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. JunkCycle may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or any violation of these Terms.
JunkCycle collects payment from Customers and holds it until a Hauler confirms job completion. JunkCycle charges service fees, which may vary based on location and job type. Refunds are processed only in cases of confirmed disputes. Haulers agree to payout schedules, service fees, and policies set within the Platform.
Haulers must possess any required licenses, insurance, or permits applicable to hauling or disposal work. They must act safely, respectfully, and responsibly when providing services. JunkCycle reserves the right to deactivate or suspend haulers who breach these conditions.
You agree not to misuse the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Circumventing payments through off-platform transactions.
- Posting or requesting illegal or hazardous material pickups.
- Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior.
JunkCycle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal or business use. All content, branding, software, and systems remain the property of JunkCycle and its licensors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JunkCycle shall not be liable for damages arising from:
- The performance or non-performance of Haulers.
- Any waste-related incident, personal injury, or property damage.
- Any indirect or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JunkCycle, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claim or demand arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
JunkCycle may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Users will be notified of material changes via email or app alerts.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and applicable Canadian federal law.
